shared:ground brings together seven First Nations artists who embrace the experimentation and innovation currently occurring in contemporary Indigenous art. Collectively creating from a foundation grounded in the ancient tradition of storytelling, each artist brings with them a unique and considered perspective.
 
Curated to capture an unseen element present in their work, the exhibition explores the hidden motivation compelling each artist to create and innovate. This is shown through experimental printmaking techniques, body adornment that brings new life into materials and raw ochres that embody Country itself. 
 
Through the stitching, binding, holding, and shaping an interconnectedness is formed. shared:ground aims to understand these threads of connection and celebrates the unique methods of creation that each artist holds.
