Otto Künzli and Therese Hilbert are two of the most renowned contemporary jewellers of the 20th century. Originally from Switzerland, they live and work in Munich, Germany. This is their first exhibition in Australia since 2010. For 45 years, they have worked side by side, creating some of the most resonant and inflluential contemporary jewellery of the era.
"We exchange ideas on (almost) everything, discussing our activities continually, rasping and sharpening one another as if we were blades and whetstones and showing little or no generosity to one another in the process." OK & TH
The exhibition will be officially opened by Ms Manuela Erb, Honorary Consul to the Swiss Embassy in Melbourne.
